(YOUTUBE) Happy Mother's Day: Never Forget Her

Good morning!

I had no idea why I felt so tired yesterday. Maybe because I was up more than 12 hours. Well, I am a sleeping queen, definitely need my 8 hours of sleep.

Best of all,  I am awake to good new today; my new video had finally been uploaded on YouTube! It has been taking days to load because of my poor internet connection.

Well, the new video is basically one of the small present to my mum for this coming Mother's Day, because she wants to have a taste of how it's like being on screen and watching herself from it.

During the shoot, she was super excited and fascinated with things, even like small things. I think the "crew" on set is like...only 1 person. Or rather, I am the only crew la.  It's totally like a training session too, where I teach my younger sister how to operate the camera  etc.

No lightings/ sound system set up for this video however, which makes it even harder to film. So many things to avoid and I spotted many error in the video during editing as well. (Sweat)

But nevertheless, I try my best to whip up a simple 6 minutes short story and here it is:

It's titled "Never Forget Her" because I believe that some people might be overseas or might be too busy to make it in time to celebrate Mother's Day or drop your Mum wishes. But no matter how busy we are, we should always never forget our Mum and remember to wish them Happy Mother's Day.

This does not just apply to Mother's Day, it applies to even occasions like for example, her birthday!
Even a text, or if she doesn't use mobile phone (in my case), there are so many ways and means to make her feel important and not forgotten.

I may have been really naughty and sometimes had quarrels with my mum, but I feel that it's only right that she deserves to be treated nicely because after all she is one of those people who really really wants the best for you. Words that she said sometimes that hurts you, are usually unintentional. After all, without her, there's really no you. She is the one who decided to have you in her tummy for a whole 9 months. When you grow older, you start to see friends around you getting pregnant and you further realise that it's not easy and it's no joke. They have to go through so much to see you grow up. Not that I say until like I am very old lah. But I am at the prime age where you see people around you getting married and stuff.

In this story, I really have no idea why the daughter didn't contact Mdm Kwa (Oh by the way, it's my mum real last name) for a whole 3 years,  but I just kind of didn't plan to explain anyway. You guys can fill that mystery up and maybe share it with me. Hahaha!

I am aware that the camera positioning quite bad here, but that is because the raw version of the video is too wobbly. Which means too shaky and unstable, as we didn't use any tripod. We indeed overlook on that and thus while editing I have to keep trying to stabilise the video, cutting out many of the head spaces and angles. Well, no excuse! It will not happen again.

When all you have is yourself, with no professional or at least "know something" camera man/helper, you have to be everything. By then, you are sweating like a mad dog (how to be the actor on screen, look like shit already the make up) and it kind of still goes wrong when instructions are not well receive/understand. It's not easy to work with elderly-aged talent as well. Hehhe. >.<

However, this is a fruitful process and I definitely have to thank people who gave me advises on how to improve this before uploading it online. I did my best to make it look its best hahaha!

Hope you guys will like it and feel free to make it even more fruitful by providing constructive comments or you know if you like it, feel free to express it. :P

请多多指教啦!
母亲节快乐!
HAPPY MOTHER's DAY
