[Acting/ Filming] KES 253

I decided to start blogging about my filming & acting experiences starting from now.
With that said it includes behind the scene stuff. I hope you guys will enjoy reading it! ♥

SO let me start off with KES 253 - Well, this is not the latest production that I've done but it's one of the production that I have the most to say.

O.K!
Have you watched KES 253 Episode 7 be it on Suria Channel or Xinmsn???
You did? GREAT! Thanks for watching! ^_^
You didn't? NVM. I don't want to friend you already. LOL! (Kidding) (─‿‿─)

RANDOM:
I am actually part of a Suria Drama!!! HAHAHA! So what's next? Vasantham maybe?!
╍●‿●╍

It was a great experience because I get to practice my crying skills again.
The last time I cried for about 2 hours was when I did a mandarin short film "KARMA". That was even more draining and tired as it was a night scene. But nevertheless satisfying for overcoming that challenge.

You can catch some cuts of my crying scene in "KARMA" 《阴果》Yin Guo, near the middle/end of my acting reel below.

My role in KES 253 is a very small role, I am playing a Kidnapped Victim. I felt that this is a pretty challenging role because I foresee crying, wimping and whatever that will showcase my acting abilities.
Even though I am aware that the camera might not catch me and I might not be seen but even so, let's take it like an acting lesson and practice them.

Second reason is because I have friends that are going to be in the same scene and some of them are going to be filming on the same set same day with me. *Yay* HAHAHA.

True enough, I have to admit that the best part is when you know people on set, that will make you even more comfortable. I am always happy to see familiar faces on set be it production crew or fellow actors and actresses. ^_^

I am so relieved that the director is super nice and I like it when they don't give us pressure. That will really help us a lot in doing our scene. ^_^ Thank you for the guidance!

♥ ♥ ♥

Aside from crying & wailing in the scene and getting myself all so dirty and sweaty, I have to be tied up in ropes, drag in and out of room for a "million" times, get thrown into the room on the ground, get whipped with belt by the Kidnappers and be a repeated victim. LOL.

Yes! I was used two times, pretending that I am a different victim! That's what we call recycle!

HOW?
Just change clothes and re-image the hairstyle and all to make me look like another person.

Just ignore my cui face, totally naked face without anything nice on it. lol.
(◡‿◡✿)

The difference between smiling and not.

♥ The awesome people! ♥

The whole filming lasted for about half a day!
And here is the final product --> about 30s. HAHAHA!
At least can see my face. ≧◔◡◔≦

Appreciating everything will make us a happy person!

THANK YOU SPEECH:  ☜(ˆ▽ˆ)

Firstly, I want to thanks Eve for offering the role to me! Happy working with her last time & this time too! Thank you Eve! [ Even though I am not sure if you're going to see this post. lol (͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)]

Thank you Oak3 Productions too! The directors, production crew and all fellow actors, actresses & talents for making the entire process all so fun & worthwhile! (‐^▽^‐)

Till then we meet again!

[Review/Sponsored] Heritage Hair

This is probably my first post about a hair salon. OK. It is -.- What am I talking about. LOL.
SO. I haven't been to a hair salon for... like more than a year...not even on Chinese New Year this year and my hair probably look like this.

OK. FREAK! It's scary -.-
SCROLLL DOWN QUICK!

And so I went to Heritage Hair for a serious hair session.

Trimming and cutting off all split ends!

Time to wash & shampoo my hair!

Random thoughts: I look like Alibaba here.

Heritage hair suggested me to go through this treatment called HAIR RESCUE.
My hair really needs to be rescue, I don't want to turn Ju-On. LOL. Kidding.

Hair Rescue comes in 4 Steps, it helps to rebuild the internal hair structure, restoring its strength, condition, elasticity and shine. ^_^

Well, I really needed this due to so much hardcore spraying and hair styling done to my hair these past few months during shoots and filming. And guess what I didn't use hair conditioner for a few months because I'm so damn lazy to go buy a new one. Super NONO. Don't follow me ok!

TADADADAH!!!!
After trimming, cutting, washing, treatment and blowing dry.

My hair feels super smooth and no tangles!
Surprisingly, my fringe still looks very nice after undergoing cutting process.

Reason why I stop going salons to cut my fringe is because

1) Waste money $$$
2) My fringe always got destroyed! (Either I look like a nerd or a Gold Fish)
3) Seems like no salon can handle my Popiah/Prata hair.

I have really fine hair. A lot of make-up artiste and hairstylist on set during filming cannot handle them.
Some professional salon also cannot handle. Sigh... So I gave up.
All they do is 拼命 spray on my hair to make it looks neat. But didn't they know that it just makes it worse??? *Scratch head**Bang wall*

Heritage hair handles my hair with care, they handled my hair super gently and listened attentively to what I requested for. ^_^

Like you know, some salon especially those aunties salons or market ones, they tend to pull your hair so hard and handle it so roughly and you feel like you drop tons of hair at the end of your session with them.
@.@

[Sponsored Reviews] The HDB Rants

I may not know much about property but I do know some things that my family and I are facing.
Buying a flat now is like buying an expensive nuclear bomb that bombs your pocket one hole.

I am sure most Singaporeans have put themselves under huge bank loans unwillingly.
Even a 3NG Room-Flat in Marsiling cost around 320K or more.

 MARSILING O.KK! SOME DESERTED PLACE.

It's not enough to even cover the cost after selling our 3 Room original-condition flat at Yishun. My mum and eldest sister had the hardest time squeezing extra money just to make sure we have shelters over our head after we are "force" to sell this current flat just because ex-daddy decided to make us financially dried.

Sometime I really felt that the Judge are most probably blind with the way they divided the share of the house between my mum and dad... My dad is a freaking rich old man with tons of CPF while my mum is just one poor old housewife that sacrificed her youth, works days & almost empty CPF bank account for the family -.-.

Did you read the recent news that Singapore Divorce rate is very high??? Couples start to blame each other that they work so hard to pay the bills and the other party doesn't appreciate it... You don't say, my family are blaming me & my younger sister for not working and not having a stable full time job. -.- It's a struggle and makes it even harder for us to hold on to what we are doing now, because that is what we really want.

I really think that the Government should probably come up with something to help divorcee, especially family like us who is financially unstable. My mum is going 60 years of age and my elder sister is still studying under study loans, me and my younger sister are both trying to chase our dreams.

Does money really has the power to stop us from going after what we all want to be?
We are trying our best to live the life we want to, if only people with average income in Singapore are given the chance to catch up with the ever increasing high standard of living in Singapore.

The gap between the rich and the poor has become even more prominent now. The rich uses money to make more money, whereas the average income/poor people work their asses off forever to clear loans and debts.

Even my only CPF which I accumulated during my school days & short working years have to be thrown all into this new flat that we managed to get after all the hard work. Guess what, we still need to loan because it's not even near the amount, and we are having problems and worries, hoping that our loan application will be approved by HDB because our income statements like shit. -.-

It's coming to half a million, some already cost half a million.
Check out the housing prices here --> HDB Singapore
You know what I mean.
Loans can be applied very easily as long you fit the criteria but never easy to clear them.

Furthermore during my house viewings with my mum and sisters, I realized that newer flat are getting smaller and smaller -.-.

Random thoughts: No wonder Singaporean all so small in size. You hardly find someone as tall as huge as the Caucasian.
