I am here to blog about food again. There's always nice food on my blog and here is another post with delicious one! Be ready to drool all over it ≧◔◡◔≦ .
I was invited with other bloggers to a food tasting session at Canto Kitchen ( 廣東飲食中餐厅) which is located at People's Park Complex right next to Chinatown MRT!
I was so excited because I simply love eating. It's like my second best talent! (─‿‿─)

The first thing I thought when I went in was... Wow! There's a private dining room specially for us?
I thought we are going to be sitting together with the rest of the other customers.
We were welcomed warmly by Mr Sherbert Lim (Administrator of Canto Kitchen) into the auspicious room... why auspicious? because it's super red. (¬‿¬) Heh.
Before we get to see the food,
Mr. Sherbert read a really cute welcome message and gave us all a brief introduction about Canto Kitchen.
Very quickly the first dish was served on the dining table! The best part is that drinks are served immediately before anything. I was damn thirsty already!
Fast and efficient services. Good services is basic. (◡‿◡✿)

Burppp! ≧◡≦ All of them were so good!
Especially the Fried Prawns with Orange Sauce, Steamed Cod Fish with Chef' Sauce, Chinese Herbal Roasted Duck & Braised Shark's Fins with Fish Maw.
I can really see chucky cubes and slices of shark's fins inside the Braised Shark's Fins with Fish Maw dish . You know some Shark's Fins soup I came across looks like a Egg drop soup where you see nothing but egg white floating around (ᵕ.ᵕ) . They call it 蛋花湯 in Chinese. (◡‿◡✿) . Ha! so I was enjoying chewing away with all the nice chucky shark's fins, wanted more but all got eaten up by other bloggers. ٩(×̯×)۶
I was really worried when the Steamed Cod Fish dish was served because I saw CHILLY! The first thing I said was " Huuhhhh SPICYYY? :(" But to my huge relieved, it's not as spicy as in spicy. The chilli sauce apparently taste of spicy and sweet combination, and it just tastes awesome! The fish meat also don't know why so nice to eat lah, maybe canto kitchen has some magic dust sprinkle on top of every dish. HAHAHA. ok lame. (─‿‿─)
Some of Canto Kitchen dishes that I had also have a taste of home. Home as in, warmth. You feel comfortable and not too overwhelming like some top chef dish from other restaurant that may appear too overwhelming.
Not only the staff and people are friendly and approachable, the price are very very friendly and worth it too. It's definitely a good place where family and friends can gather for meals. And to top it off, Canto Kitchen have set meals for 2 persons, 4 persons, 6 persons, 8 persons & 10 persons.

With the taste from all these dishes I will definitely recommend you guys to go try it out!
Nothing beats for a good delicious meal! Whether is it for a special occasion or casual dine out with your loves one, it's definitely worth it.
