Automatic Beauty Eye Tape from Automatic Beauty

Earlier last week, I received the Automatic Beauty Eye Tape from Automatic Beauty.

Personally I don't use eye tape as I do have slight double eye lid naturally, and furthermore I am too lazy to learn how to use one hahaha!

But here're the products and I shall try to make my double eyelid bigger.

Two different types of Automatic Beauty Eye Tape came into my mailbox;

The Single Eye Tape and Natural Eye Tape.

The single eye tape is basically firmer than the natural eye tape. It definitely brings out the new eye lid better in my case because it's harder in material.

It's transparent in color, non-glossy and it sinks firmly into the crease line.
There is also a shaping stick included in the package for easy peel and stick. You also don't have to worry about not being able to peel out the eye tapes from the paper holding it because there is this easy-peel cut line provided at the edge.

So how do you put on the single eye tape?

So here's my half awake eye with no make up.
Emphasising on the no make up part, because the eye tape blended in quite well even without make up, imagine I had make up on? I think nobody can tell if I had eye tape on or not. lol.

As per the steps above, I find the height of the desire crease and paste the eye tape as accurately as I can, because it best not to remove and paste again for better effect.

After then I use the shaping stick to push it in and make sure the eye tape sink into the crease when my eye is open.

Remember to push properly in case you create too many lines on your eye lid. lol.

And tadah! It's slightly bigger than my normal eye lid. So if you want more eye lid, you can try to increase the height of where you want that crease to appear. hahaha!

My skill is not perfect yet but I think with more practice it will get better. :P

You can also try using the natural eye tape for a even natural look of course.
It's comes in skin beige/natural skin tone, translucent and made of soft fabric therefore it doesn't irritate the skin.

It's not as firm in material as compare to the single eye tape.

Personally I prefer the single eye tape because I do have quite a stubborn eye lid, so I definitely need something that can really hold the crease while I open my eyes. :P

Both the Automatic Beauty Eye Tapes (Single & Natural) are selling at local store at SGD$19.90 only for a total of 80 strips. I think it's super worth it because it also comes in a cute container box and a shaping stick as well. With 80 strips I think it should last quite long.

P.S: Pardon for lousy picture quality, all taken with iphone 5, because my camera is on MC until next week.  :)

November Beauty Box from BellaboxAsia

Hey sorry! This blog post came in super uber late.

I was really busy with work and my camera is on MC.
But nevertheless, here it is.

Introducing you the November Beauty box I have received! I hope you had already subscribe to BelleBox's monthly beauty box, because if you haven't, you are missing out on a lot!

I have choosen 3 products from the November Beauty Box for a quick review and here they are:

First I have here is Sleek Makeup Dip-it Duo Volumising Mascara and Liquid Eyeliner 24 Karat.

My review:
I think it is a handy make up that can help save some make up space while traveling or when you are out due to it's dual-ended mascara and liquid eyeliner design.  It's definitely perfect for on-the-go application.  It's good for creating metallic eyes with the golden color eyeliner however you have to apply over a black eyeliner to make the 24 karat gold color pop further. The gold colour turns out a bit light on its own and it will kind of fade off after sometime, so I guess applying a black eyeliner first as a base will make the 24 karat gold liquid eyeliner stay longer and looks better on the eye lid. Otherwise, you can apply the gold liquid eyeliner as a brightening agent for you eyes.

The Volumising Mascara in my opinion is okay, not much of a comment for this part.
Oh yes, Sleek has very nice packaging design for their make up stuff I realise. Kudos on that part too!

So here's how everything look like inside.

Next up we have the JACQUELINE BURCHELL Crystal Nail File

What I think:

This hardened glass nail file from Jacqueline Burchell helps file my nails really nicely! The color is a favourite too! Most of my nail file don't last that long and always ended up in the trash but this one looks strong and sturdy and it definitely help shaped my nail pretty well! Super chio stuff that must stay in my manicure set.

Last but not least, NUXE Huile Prodigieuse Multi Usage Dry Oil.

My review:

It's moisturising but not at all heavy on the body and just sinks into the skin so beautifully. You can put your clothes on and not stick to anything.

I don't dare try it on my face in case of any allergy reactions because my face is super sensitive. SO I tried it on my arms, hands and hair first for a start! It's really really light and the fragrance is truly beautiful. It smell so nice!

Purevivi cleansing lotion; Make up remover

Hey guys! I did a photo shoot recently remember? Now let's find out how I removed all of that heavy make up cleanly from my face!
I have been trying out Purevivi Cleansing Lotion for a few weeks now and it's looking good with no skin allergy or accumulated residue seen.

✿ Paraben-free
✿ Alcohol-free
✿ Formulated with fruit and plant extracts

Purevivi cleansing lotion really helps to dissolve my makeup so fast and thorough it leaves no streak behind.

It feels really light on my skin like water and it's not oily or sticky. My skin felt really fresh like I have just washed my face or something.

However, I would suggest they come in smaller bottles as well so that it will be convenient for ladies or men even to bring out on vacation or simply for me to bring out during shoots and filming. It's a little heavy and inconvenient to keep pouring out from a huge bottle too.

That said, other than the packaging of the product, everything is great! :D

What are the key functions?

Purevivi cleansing lotion is a 4-in-1 micellar water makeup remover. It dissolves makeup, cleanses, soothes and moisturises the skin.

How is it used?

1. Wet cotton pads with few drops of the lotion

2. Press the wet cotton wipes on your face and eyes

3. Wipe off gently after a few seconds

4. Repeat the steps until all makeup is dissolved

5. Wash face with clean water or move on to next facial skincare step

What are the key product attributes?

♚ EFFECTIVENESS: Dissolves makeup quickly
♚ CLARITY: Leaves your skin feeling matt
♚ FRESHNESS: Gives a feeling of freshness
♚ TEXTURE: As gentle and light as water
♚ MADE IN JAPAN: Adheres to quality manufacturing standards

How beneficial is it for your skin?

It contains 9 moisturising natural fruit and plant extracts such as Grapefruits Extract, Lemon Extract, Jujube Extract, Apple Extract, Orange Extract, Lime Extract, Coix Seed Extract, Crataegus Cuneata Fruit Extract and of course Aloe Extract.

Free from these harmful ingredients:

✪Cationic surface-active agent

'HELL'oween at Downtown East

Just few days ago it was halloween and still halloween even if halloween is over, you meet scary and ugly people sometimes you know. *wink*

Me and Hafiz went down to Downtown East for the media preview for the Doors to ‘HELL’oween - The Terror Maze~

Doors to ‘HELL’oween – The Terror Maze is held in D’ Marquee featuring more than 10 rooms occupied by minions from ‘Hell’ such as zombies, skeletons and live scary dolls. Experiencing various themes in each of the room which revolve around well-known horror stories.

We walk through mutilated bodies in the Massacre room, through a possessed girl’s iconic bedroom where evil await and slither our way across the Snake Pit. There were cemetery and spider alley too.

What's even more scarier is when we have to walk through a room that has dim lights flashing everywhere and as you walk all you see is just mirrors after mirrors. We couldn't really see clearly what's ahead of us. Furthermore we mistook our own reflection as someone else.

自己吓自己 (Scaring ourselves)

I would say all the props and characters involve in the terror maze were done nicely and it looks real.

After walking through the terror maze, there were some games booth as well and we won ourselves two childhood toy which apparently I don't know how to play.

Oh yea it looks something like this...just that mine is like a robot toy below.
(Sorry didn't remember to took a photo of the one I got)

This is so call the childhood parachute toy thing. Apparently only Hafiz knew what it is that day. Hahahaa! None of us, not even the organiser knows how to play this. :P

Damn...eh but it's quite fun leh. lol.

There were photo booth as well. I find the props quite interesting hahahaha.

Hafiz trying to be some sort of horror version of My Fair Princess eating his terribly wounded hands. (恐怖还珠格格)✍(◔◡◔)

Apparently I tried to be as scary looking as I can with that cape, but I failed and guess I should just pose nicely with it.

End up I think my eyes form a line here. ✌

Ok, and the suppose to be Dracula bite failed terribly. Hafiz is still smiling widely. (ㆆ_ㆆ)

This post came on a little late but nevertheless it's here. hehe!

Thank you Downtown East, SP and NTUC for making it happen and inviting me and my guest down for the media preview! :)

xoxo.

Explore BellaboxAsia's October beauty box with me!

Thank You BellaBoxAsia for sending me their beauty box yet again!
It's October and before it ends I am going to quickly do a post on it.

I was using their beauty box product few days ago for my shoot.

First I used the Garnier Sakura White Moisturising day cream as my face moisturiser or you call it base cream. So that my face will look all dewy and moist!

The cream itself doesn't feel sticky on the face and it makes your skin looks whiter right after applying. It has whitening effect and it makes my face looked a little more radiant and awake too.

Next up I also tried using the REAL! push-up liner for my eyeliner!
This is my first time using a push-up liner! I had seen many of my friends using them and never know how it feels like.

Basically it's like squeezing black gel out from the tip (Just like squeezing colgate haha!).

It's smooth and I was able to apply it evenly along my eyelid! Oh and throughout the 2 hours shoot, it didn't smudge!

CREMA SAPONE NON SAPONE !

This extraordinary detergent-free cleansing cream deep cleans and refines all complexion types, effectively whisking away dirt, grime, and any trace of cosmetic product.

The texture of the cream feels light and my face feels clean with no irritation or whatsoever after using it.

Basically, I used this to wash my face after all the make up removing.
Stay tuned for my next post about my latest make up remover solution!

And this is the final look for the shoot!

Miam Miam @ Bugis Junction

Sorry all, I know this is a super late post >.<
Really been busy lately. I guess I will just jump straight into topic.

Few weeks ago I went to Miam Miam at Bugis Junction for a food tasting session with my sister.

Miam Miam is a French-Japanese fine casual café kitchen, it is a labour of love by globetrotting friends with a passion for food. Marrying French  techniques with Japanese inspired flavours and ideologies, the team at Miam Miam is  engineered to deliver a consistently excellent experience

Here's a list of the best food you can find at Miam Miam and you should give it a try when you are there.

Matcha Hot Chocolate ($7.80)
Warming and slightly decadent, this drink is the perfect sweet treat for any time of day.

Clam chowder - $5.80

Our starter of the day, chunky soup full of goodness.

Mac & Cheese $15.80
Quatre Fromages and super crunchy! Om Nom Nom! Super cheesy as well!

Riz Au Curry - $15.50

It's a really tasty curry baked rice, with the curry covering not just the top layer, but embracing every single grain of the rice hidden under it. Simple dish that is very filling!

 Miam Miam Spaghetti - $15.80

Extremely large portion of spaghetti with a home cooked feel, the pasta was sautéed with slices of frankfurters, tomatoes, baby spinach and bacon. Taste wise, it is slightly on the bland and mild side, which is totally what I like the most. Spaghetti was will cooked, everything was just right.

Famous French Toast - $9.80

Oh gosh! I love this the most. Super addictive!
A clay pot of french toasted bread which are soft and crispy at the right area. The unique part is that, it is topped with a huge scoop of cream instead of the usual ice cream, and it compliments the french toast!

A maple syrup on the side for you to drizzle on the french toast, giving the entire dish an unforgettable sweetness.

Valrhona Chocolate Soufflé - $13.80

High quality chocolate were use, and it literally melt into your mouth!

There was a tinge of alcohol in the chocolate soufflé to give it that little kick lingering at the end of every bite. Loved the thin crispy outer layer of the soufflé with a soft undercooked inside

Paired with the chocolate sauce on the side which  blended in well. Dark chocolate was used, so it isn't too sweet.

Cream Cheese Soufflé Pancake - $10.80

There was maple syrup to go with the thick pancake. The pancake on its own was leaning more towards the savoury side, so paired with the maple syrup it was a good blend of sweet and salty.

Riz Noir Squid Ink Rice - $16.50

We were quite fascinated with this dish because it's infused with squid ink and we can't wait to take pictures of ourselves with stained black teeth.

Unfortunately it didn't make our teeth really black after all.
Super creative I thought, this is the first time I across this dish. It's either I am mountain turtle or Miam Miam is really really really creative.

Taste good though! Give it a try!

Souffle De Nauge ($15.50)

The egg was fluffy and creamy and was definitely the best of the dish. The rice hidden below the egg was sautéed with fresh tomatoes to give it a slight tinge of redness, with slices of thick ham which makes the dish even tastier.

Have you seen this kind of Souffle dish? I guess not!

I will definitely be back there to dine again~ :)
