GP batteries Singapore's F Series Powerbank

Hello everyone!

It's been very long since I posted a blog post. I have just came back from Bangkok with lots of clothes and I hope you guys manage to watch my Bangkok Haul on my Youtube Channel! I will be doing a giveaway soon as promise!

During my Bangkok trip, I have been trying to look for a phone charger because my older charger that can charge up to 3 times, spoilt. :( I brought one back and was told I could charge up to 3 times. But in the end, I can only charge 1 time and 1 time is just not enough for people like me who uses the phone a lot. I need at least a charger that can charge up to 2 times.

Well, I am sure someone heard me. ;) So I recently received a 5000 mAh charger (FP05M, S$29) from GP batteries Singapore. :D Apparently, when I received it, it was already fully charged :D. Super happy and the best part is I can use it to charge my iPhone6s for 2 times!

(P.S: I also love my watermelon cover a lot! :P)

One of the thing I like about FP05M charger is that it automatically stops charging when your phone is fully charged and it has an over-temperature cut-off during power bank charging so that it won't overheat or something you know.

Here are some of the benefits found in GP batteries Singapore's FP05M charger:

Safer to use:
- Over-temperature cut-off during PowerBank recharging
- Complies with UN38.3 air transport safety standard

Faster than usual charge:
- Speedy recharging
- Fast charging- it charges my phone to full battery super fast

Smarter:
- Compatible with IOS and Android smartphones and many other USB devices
- It has intelligent power modulation which automatically switches between input voltage when travelling.
- Plano-concave dual front design for curved-back and flat-back devices

Longer battery life:
- Shields against over charging, over discharging, overheating and low temperature

More durable:
- Safeguard from malfunctions due to short circuit
-Loopback protection automatically cuts-off power when a cable is plugged into input/output simultaneously.

I love the classic design and texture of the charger and it's lighter in weight as compare to the other charger I had. The prices wise it's around ~SGD$30 depending on which models. I think the price is quite normal and pretty much worth the price as well since it has so many functions, durable and super portable to bring out.

The powerbanks are retailing at selected Best Denki, Challenger, Courts, Newstead and Popular outlets.

You may also want to consider taking part in GP batteries Singapore's Facebook & Instagram Contest! Contest date: start on 6 Nov to 30 Nov . All you need to do is to comment one feature (which can be found in this post) of Fast Track power bank which you think is the most important on GP's Facebook & Instagram!

Good luck!

A broken soul still capable of loving

My blog is dead. Totally ain't no mood to write anything since months ago.
I was pretty much tired of doing so many events & sponsors write up because I have to input so many informations that won't make the post any interesting for me to keep writing. To be honest, I wasn't paid, only with sponsored stuff which I won't be able to finish using them. I not the freebie goer kind of person. They end up just sitting in my house taking up space.

My interest for blogging is not writing stuff I don't enjoy writing.
So you see, I stopped going for events I am not interested in or not that interested in. And I strongly feel that client should be paying for efforts. Time is everything.

I am also going through a lot in life recently. These past few months was one of a kind experiences. I met many new people. I was overwhelmed and I was happy to some extend. There were unhappy moments as well because I decided to be honest and be myself.

These few months, I had struggles and I was trashed badly. I was pulled lower than I thought I would go. I felt totally insecure. My self esteem went down to almost nothing. I doubt myself. I wasn't as confident of myself anymore and I felt like I was to blame for all the unhappiness. The only reason is because, I lost myself for somebody else. I looked up to the wrong person, I trusted the wrong people.

I cried endless nights & days during quarrels and arguments. I felt like I am the bad guy. I am to be blamed. I asked myself to leave everything behind. I asked myself to forget everything that had happened. I asked myself to let myself off. Many times I knew I have to walk away. My heart and emotions took over. Everything went haywire over and over again. It's suffocating and I was drowning.

I gave everything I have, they were so important but were unappreciated.

I was so focus on gaining approval and making everyone else happy, I forgot about myself. I forgot to stand firm on my believes, my principle, even nearly my dignity.

It was devastating.
I love them and I want them to be happy but I forgot to really love myself.

I wasn't allow to tell anybody about anything, not even my family members. And so, I had "no one" to confine in. I had to confess, I had thoughts of suiciding to end the pain I am feeling.

Until now, I haven't really got over whatever that happened. It was just about a week ago, I started to really force myself to leave these toxin mess behind. After seeing what I least want to see, I had to believe that it was never right to begin with.

God gave me many red signals, telling me so many things through their actions and it was me who was blinded by my heart.
My instincts & my brain analysed and told me things but I refused to listen to it and ignored them. Some people we have to let go regardless of how much we want them in our life.

I am still fixing this broken young soul and heart. My career is not doing well either. I am just glad, to have people supporting me. At least, you guys are the reason I am still moving forward.

Social media doesn't show everything. At least for me, I didn't want to have a negative influence on people. I find that, there isn't a need for me to spread further negativity. The world needs more positivity... regardless how fake it could be.

The things I have learnt:
1) Truly love & believe in yourself a lot no matter what!
2) We cannot judge a book by its beautiful perfectly decorated cover.
3) Be fake to certain people, because they don't deserve the real you
4) Only let certain people into your life
5) They are not my main friends
6) Choose to be positive on the right things, otherwise it's native
7) Take things easier
8) Do not worry about anything!
9) Care less if not it's just being careless to your heart
10) Appreciate who I am and what I have now, it's definitely much better than if I don't.
11) Do not trust easily.
12) Keep my mouth shut!

Eventually,  I will be ok again. I will walk out fine.

Review: Bellezza Aesthetics

The last time I went for a facial treatment was about a year ago, to treat the outbreak of pimples on my face. It was a success and a good experience, but I definitely don't want to experience it again.

It was a period of hell, a period of low self-esteem because of how ugly I think I looked with those pimples on my face.  So thankfully, I'm offered a sponsorship that period of time to help fight these acnes.

Today, I am back with a review of another beauty salon known as Bellezza Aesthetics.

Bellezza Aesthetics is a place that provides beauty treatments for face, eyes and body.
According to what the beautician told me, they use a lot of high technology machines and equipments to help achieve better results.

It wasn't hard to find the place, it's just less than 5 minutes walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT.
It is really convenient for most working adults too as it is very near the CBD area.

Before the treatment, I was brought to this small little cosy room with a really beautiful diamond sofa. The calming ambience of the room and the attention to detail such as serving a glass of cold fruit punch and cold yogurt, had me a little surprise. It definitely helped kickstart a really good impression for a first visit to Bellezza Aesthetics.

Well, who doesn’t love receiving something extra right?

It was raining and with that injured right ankle, I really did used quite a bit of energy to make my way here. So I am really glad, I had the chance to get comfortable before the treatment. It's thoughtful of them to allow us some time to pace ourselves before proceeding on to the treatment.

The most unexpected part is that, warm towel was given as well just like what I had experienced when I am on an international flight or a well-known airline where service are top-notch. There was no rushing at all as I sat in the room taking my time to finish the drink and yogurt. I stayed in the room for quite a while and soon I started realising that maybe I'm taking a little too long so I decided to speed myself up. HAHAHA!

They have indeed succeeded in making me feel very comfortable and welcome.

Before deciding on the type of treatment for me, the beautician had a short conversation with me to better understand what treatment I need. It is really a short one like maybe a minute or two because I kind of know what I wanted.

I mentioned about the seriousness of my dark eye circles to the beautician, so I expected her to introduce some sort of a treatment solely for the eyes. Well she mentioned that they do have different treatments for problems like mine and I was really relieved to hear that as everyone else told me that there's no cure to dark circles.

Upon entering the treatment room, I was told that different rooms were given different names according to the theme of the room. It's really cool because the theme of my treatment room is Autumn and it's really beautiful.

I had to also mention that their aroma in their room smells really good and help me feel relaxed.

I love it when the beautician didn't come and disturb me as I took my own sweet time in the treatment room; changing to my gown and enjoying the beauty of the room alone.

I did the Skin resurfacing treatment that lasted for about an hour.

Here's a little about the treatment:
  • Mineral sea salt skin resurfacing is a non-invasive safe treatment to takes years off your complexion by gently exfoliating the outer layers of skin.
  • Immediate and visible results for lines and wrinkles, open pores, blackheads, pigmentation, blemish and acnes scars and stretch marks.
  • The gentle vacuum action gives the facial muscles a mini workout each time, providing an immediate lifting effect and an ongoing improvement in tone.
  • With regular treatments, achieving the desirable effects of smoother, fairer skin texture and a new glowing radiance to your skin.

The beauticians are skilful, friendly and attentive to my needs. My beautician is aware how much I didn't like extractions to be done on my face and she didn't force it on me. I am thankful because some beautician from other place will keep manipulating you and persuading you to do extraction even if you hate it to the max. I dislike extractions because I had bad experience several times and I am just really afraid of pain!

So my beautician only did a few extraction which pretty much feels okay for me. However she did advised the need for further extraction because I have a very prone-to-clogging skin. -WHYYY-

I enjoyed the face massage a lot and I wish I had my own personal face masseur at that moment. lol.
    Ohhh please don't stop!

Unfortunately, all good things come to an end, the facial treatment had to come to an end too.

I was greeted with a pretty cup of warm tea and snacks back at the quiet cosy room after a long facial treatment.  This is exactly what I need to warm myself up!

As usual, I took my own sweet time in the room, enjoying myself and taking pictures.

My skin felt clean after the session. My face looks so much fairer and feels smoother too! Most importantly, my dark eye circles becomes lighter in color.

All details are well taken care of too; from the nice luxurious furnishings to the nice warm towels you get with your drinks and snacks before and after the treatment.

Bellezza Aesthetics, definitely provides one of the best service around town. My first experience with them during the facial treatment is a good one and I really enjoyed my time there. The beauticians are not pushy and will only recommend treatments if you enquire about them and if only they think it's suitable for your complexion. They don't rush you to get in the treatment room and out of their place as well.

Good service is one of the most important aspects when it comes to topic like skin treatments and health issues. So if you don't like pushy and overly sales oriented beauticians, you may want to head over to Bellezza Aesthetics to try them out.

Feel free to quote my name "EVALEE" to get your first trial (Award-winning Timeless Radiance Customized Facial worth $268) with them at only $18.

I have included their details below as well.

(Youtube) Her crush and the Whatsapp blue ticks

Have you ever get messed up mentally and emotionally with the new Whatsapp double blue ticks which tells us that the messages we sent had be read by the receiver on the other end?

In case you are not sure what's the difference between the different Whatsapp ticks, here it is below:

    •  message successfully sent.
    •  message successfully delivered to the recipient's phone.
    •  the recipient has read your message.

Well, whether or not you agree with me, all of us did probably got messed up before.
It's just how serious we get there and how well we hold ourselves together to deal with this nasty truth that we ain't going to get a reply from this person. Oh well. It's not so baddd.

Personally, I had been screwed a couple of times by people and the blue ticks. It's like hanging you there and not giving you an answer. Well, of course, nobody have the obligation to reply you.

As long as you care about the person, likely you are screwed when they don't reply you. Some how, you will still question yourself why didn't they reply after reading your message.

I must say, it's actually a courtesy to at least reply people lah. I do reply if you don't ask me stupid, brainless, nonsensical question, and of course, if I like you. ;)

Wondering who is Miao Li and why the name?

Maybe I will ask her to do a short introduction of herself. Hmm.

    Behind the name:

Miao Li is a name taken from one of the school stage shows I used to do. She is a ...I would say innocent, someone who imagine a lot and stupid? girl. lol. So, most of the time she won't get what you are trying to say.

So this short skit shows her trying to make her first move to ask her crush out using Whatsapp because she is too shy to call. After much debate with herself, she finally decided to pluck out her courage and text this really cute guy. This skit shows different emotions of her from being anxious, worried, sad, disappointed, happy and to..maybe..a little crazy. I believe there could be more like becoming angry.

The Whatsapp blue ticks kind of screwed her up. So....

Watch to find out what happen and how these little powerful ticks do to her thoughts and imagination. Or let just say, the crush damn power.

    Walk N Snap Part I

Yes. My house and bedroom is super messy. It's where creative people work at. HAHA!

At the Northpoint Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe with my friend for brunch. The pasta for black pepper chicken tastes awful and I didn't finish it. I ate the creamy mushroom and ham pasta a couple of times, I must say, it's so much better than the tomato based pasta in their menu. However, not comparable to Pasta Mania, where pasta wasn't the best either.

I'm outside the new Capitol Piazza and it happened to be dazzling cafe opening day.  Look at the waiting crowd on the left!

I decided that I need an #OOTD shot since I see white doors. I am sure many people took photo with this door. I am definitely not the first. ;)

My friend thought that the reflection is pretty cool.

The ladies at the new Capitol Piazza is beautiful!

A selfie is needed when there is a huge full length mirror.
*Auntie, why you look so worried behind me?*

Some weird looking bell spotted in the middle of city hall. They call it an art.

^At Entre-nous, I heard their crepes not bad.
It's open by a caucasian family and it's basically a family business. True enough, their drinks and crepes are really good.

I swung my camera to the left and I thought "hey Carol looked amazing with this pose and angle".

Hmm. Which one now, which one?

I am going to EAT YOU!

     The coconut milkshake is amazing!

Some ham, cheese and egg crepes. It tasted like heaven.

Salted Caramel for you? It's a little too salty and heavy for me though.

^ The Black Swan bosses and ex-colleague.

This is the mirror version logo for The daily roundup.
Please remember to print our face next time on the logo in the menu.

I didn't know it exist until yesterday and it's too bitter.

Crepes tasting day! It looks exactly like the one at Entre-nous, but with Chorizo.

    It's Hazelnuts not Nutella.

Cold-pressed celery juice with erm...mint leave inside (*no idea*). It's refreshing and good.

    This is da bomb!

    "Act-one" with the berry.

    "Act-one" number 2.

The toliet lighting gave a very VSCO feel.

    ^ LUXE

^ Very nice drink. Camera didn't want to focus the drink, WHY.

    CHEERS!

    The muscles on my leg.

    The entrance to LUXE.

^ Finally, I visited The Potato Head Folk.
Next, I want to visit Bali's Potato Head Folk restaurant! Can somebody bring me there?

Their truffle chips! Omg, it's super nice! I love truffles!

They say the alcoholic content of these drinks is very little. But I drank half (diluted with melted ice-cubes), I was already sleepy.

    Drool please.
