KORYO: Korean Baked Chicken Hof

I was invited by Hong Peng on behalf of KORYO to try their food.
If you love chicken and beer, KORYO is definitely a place to go to with your friends!
Great place for gatherings, relaxing and maybe to unwind yourself after a whole day at work.

They have outdoor alfresco and huge comfortable sofa as well!

I especially love those pictures frame hanging on their wall.

This is their humble little menu. Not too much choices but most of them are a must try.

Some organs from the chicken. I can't remember what it is but I don't like it. I am not use to eating...organs. I am super picky about such stuff.

The opening dish - House Salads with Kimchi.

Cheese dukbokki (different from the authentic spicy dukbokki)

Assorted baked chicken (We ordered breast and drumstick). - Original baked chicken basket

The sauces to accompany the chickens~
Chili, BBQ, Mustard, Mayo.

This is super spicy! I am not good at taking spicy food anyway. But nevertheless, it taste awesome. hahaha~

Cheese corn! You have to eat it when it’s hot and crispy! BEST!

This is DA BOOM!
KBC & HOF WHOLE ROAST CHICKEN

Some small sides here : Mashed Potato, white radish and cucumbers!

We had the friendly server there to help us cut the chicken up.

Life of a blogger- Snap pretty pictures of the food.
Especially a beautiful chicken like that.

In Korea, it's beer with chicken~ So we did the same at KORYO.
Something really new for me.

We ordered their Signature Koryo Wrap and Chicken Curry Bowl to try too~

Korean Ice Kacang (patbingsu)~ The serving is huge! We ordered it at the end of our meal, and literally share between 4-6 people! But it's the best dessert ever. So many flavour and good stuff inside.

I also had the Watermelon Soju, don't really like it~ Doesn't suit me perhaps. I prefer the beer. LOL.

The SPA-Lon ATP38 and Acne { Visit Dairy } Part 3

My visit to SPA-Lon continues after the 5th visit few weeks ago.
Here you can catch up and read about the previous visits if you haven't ~

This post is going to be about my 6th and 7th visit to SPA-Lon.

Basically my face has became better after the past 5 visits and I was told by Pauline that there are still left over blackheads that can't be remove completely previously.

I am waiting for the scars & marks to disappear slowly, hoping that one day I don't need extractions anymore.

Here's the before and after for the 6th visit on 9th July (Wednesday)~

Pauline extracted those blackheads that finally surfaced and are ready for removal.

I decided to take a picture of the blackheads at the end of it.

It's like never ending! Some are oil seeds I think.
Disgusting much.

As usual, Pauline from SPA-Lon Choa Chu Kang outlet, did Mircopeeling & Photo Rejuvenating on me.

On the 7th visit which is on 17th July (Thursday)
The same thing, Pauline removed those left over blackheads that finally surfaced. I was relieved that it's lesser than before. It just means less extractions and less pain.

Here's the before and after for 17th July.

It's the 3rd days of healing after the 7th visit currently, and I have 3 new pimples that came out and some pulse on the extracted part near the temple above my left eyebrow. I think it's really got to do with all my late nights which I can't avoid due to my work nature and also...I am expecting my month period. It better come on time! **Prays** (1 more day)

P.S: As usual, still using the same cleansing method & products from SPA-Lon

1) Phytomer Milk cleanser
2) Phytomer Toner
3) Phytomer Moisturiser and Acne spot cream.

On an side note:

Every outlet at The SPA-Lon does customised packages for ATP-38 treatments according to each individual needs.

As for my customised ATP-38 package of Micropeeling, Extraction, Photo rejuvenation treatment and mask is:

- S$1004.75 (inclusive of GST) x 1 session
- S$2669.65 (inclusive of GST) x 5 sessions.

Meanwhile stay tuned for more updates on my 8th visit to SPA-Lon this coming Wednesday.

[Event] Clinique Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush. Dermatologist-developed.

Hello all, I attended the exclusive Clinique event few weeks ago.
They are launching their new skin-changer.

Meet the new Clinique Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush. Dermatologist-developed.

YES! The little device I am posing with above. :D
The brush bristles are really soft and there are two colours parts- Green & White.

The pale green, angled tips consists of firmer, shorter bristles that allow for easier and more efficient cleansing of area prone to more oil production and clogging, like the T-Zone. The angled brush tips mirrors the intuitive motion of the hand so using the brush comes naturally.

Whereas for the white bristles on the body of the brush are softer and less firms, designed to target the larger more delicate areas of the face like the cheeks where there are less oil glands.

The ergonomic handle provides an easy comfortable grips, while also allowing the brush to lay flat to dry.

It also has a self timer which automatically turns the brush off after 30 seconds, which is the appropriate amount of usage time for most skin types. When comfortable, you can build up to 1 minutes of use, twice daily.

This little device is chargeable via bluetooth too. I wasn't aware that it's charge via bluetooth. I even went to ask where is the charger hole HAHA...gosh... Oh well.

A talk was given to help us all to better understand Clinique and their new product.

A demonstration of how to go about using the purifying cleansing brush was also shown.

When Cleansing - Use the Clinique Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush with our own Skin-Typed Liquid Facial Soap. Apply on dampened bristles. Use for 60 seconds, twice a day.

Clinique also had their specialist to look at our face to make sure we get the right liquid facial soap.

Using the purifying cleansing brush -

> Massage in a circular motion using the white bristles.
> T-Zone- Using the green bristles, move into contours in an up-and-down motion.
> Jawline - Angle the tilted brush head to target jawline, hairline.

I personally tried those steps at home and the liquid facial soap specially picked for my skin type really suit my skin.

As long my face don't feel dry after using it, I guess it fine!
After using the purifying cleansing brush, my face feels softer and smoother too.

You can find out more here as well : http://www.clinique.com.sg/

It is an informative event where I learnt a lot about how our skin works.
Thank you for the invitation and for being so generous to pamper us with the all new Dermatologist-developed Clinique Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush and a specially picked liquid facial soap!

Not forgetting that delicious delicacies were also served during the event. The food were prepared to suit the theme of the event, or rather the colours of the all new purifying cleansing brush.

I had a really good time there with Maybeline!
Nice meeting people from Clinique too!

[EVENT] Summer Indulgence

Hello all!

This is a really really late post! But nevertheless, here it is. HEHE.
I was invited to the event about 2 month ago. I really enjoyed myself and thanks for the invitation again Wendy!

It was held at Sentosa Singapore, Coastes Singapore as it is a summer theme!
There were props for us to take pictures with too! :D

As usual, the event venue was well decorated! Super creative!
I always love attending their event!

These are basically some of the summer products they are introducing at the event!

SENKA - Mineral Essence UV

 AQUALABEL - Whitening Jelly Essence.

As usual, they have game booths set up for us to take part and have fun! :)

And other products they have too. - Tsubaki Range

TSUBAKI - Head Spa Sparkling Serum

A talk was also given to let us to further understand their new summer products.

Oh and side track a little, the ceiling of Coastes Singapore is super nice.
Don't you think it's super artistic?

There were also refreshments and I had a great time catching up with the lovely bunch as well!
Here's a picture from Michelle's Blog~

From Left-Right: Michelle, Aud, Me and Desiree

Super happy to see them at the event!

A picture with my dear sister as well! :D

It is super generous and nice of the team to pamper us with their latest summer products too.
These are the products introduced during the event.

I would say I really am in love with the Whitening Jelly Essence. It feels super light on my face, not sticky and sometimes I didn't even put toner and moisturiser. All I do is just apply this thinly on my face and move on to my make up routine.

It's super time consuming for us who need to apply make up because of work requirement and this just helps to lessen the time taken to prepare my face for make up.

As for the SENKA Mineral Essence UV, I would say it's not greasy and sticky. In my opinion, as long it's doesn't make my face feels sticky and oily, it's a good UV protection cream. But I am also avoiding using sunscreen or UV protection cream on my face as it kind of clog my pores, but on certain occasion when I really have to use, SENKA Mineral Essence UV will definitely be one of my choice.

Last but not least, Tsubaki Head Spa Sparkling Serum works like magic. First of all, it's amusing to hear sparkling sound coming from your head after you apply the serum on your scalp. It's basically a hair serum for your scalp. It promotes blood circulation for a healthy and moisturised scalp. It's super easy to use it, you just need to spray a small amount on your scalp and use your finger/palm to press it down to let it absorb! It has a cooling sensation afterwards, super refreshing feeling!

I am really thankful to be able to get my hands on these amazing products and try them :D
You can get yours too!
