Explore BellaboxAsia's October beauty box with me!

Thank You BellaBoxAsia for sending me their beauty box yet again!
It's October and before it ends I am going to quickly do a post on it.

I was using their beauty box product few days ago for my shoot.

First I used the Garnier Sakura White Moisturising day cream as my face moisturiser or you call it base cream. So that my face will look all dewy and moist!

The cream itself doesn't feel sticky on the face and it makes your skin looks whiter right after applying. It has whitening effect and it makes my face looked a little more radiant and awake too.

Next up I also tried using the REAL! push-up liner for my eyeliner!
This is my first time using a push-up liner! I had seen many of my friends using them and never know how it feels like.

Basically it's like squeezing black gel out from the tip (Just like squeezing colgate haha!).

It's smooth and I was able to apply it evenly along my eyelid! Oh and throughout the 2 hours shoot, it didn't smudge!

CREMA SAPONE NON SAPONE !

This extraordinary detergent-free cleansing cream deep cleans and refines all complexion types, effectively whisking away dirt, grime, and any trace of cosmetic product.

The texture of the cream feels light and my face feels clean with no irritation or whatsoever after using it.

Basically, I used this to wash my face after all the make up removing.
Stay tuned for my next post about my latest make up remover solution!

And this is the final look for the shoot!

Miam Miam @ Bugis Junction

Sorry all, I know this is a super late post >.<
Really been busy lately. I guess I will just jump straight into topic.

Few weeks ago I went to Miam Miam at Bugis Junction for a food tasting session with my sister.

Miam Miam is a French-Japanese fine casual café kitchen, it is a labour of love by globetrotting friends with a passion for food. Marrying French  techniques with Japanese inspired flavours and ideologies, the team at Miam Miam is  engineered to deliver a consistently excellent experience

Here's a list of the best food you can find at Miam Miam and you should give it a try when you are there.

Matcha Hot Chocolate ($7.80)
Warming and slightly decadent, this drink is the perfect sweet treat for any time of day.

Clam chowder - $5.80

Our starter of the day, chunky soup full of goodness.

Mac & Cheese $15.80
Quatre Fromages and super crunchy! Om Nom Nom! Super cheesy as well!

Riz Au Curry - $15.50

It's a really tasty curry baked rice, with the curry covering not just the top layer, but embracing every single grain of the rice hidden under it. Simple dish that is very filling!

 Miam Miam Spaghetti - $15.80

Extremely large portion of spaghetti with a home cooked feel, the pasta was sautéed with slices of frankfurters, tomatoes, baby spinach and bacon. Taste wise, it is slightly on the bland and mild side, which is totally what I like the most. Spaghetti was will cooked, everything was just right.

Famous French Toast - $9.80

Oh gosh! I love this the most. Super addictive!
A clay pot of french toasted bread which are soft and crispy at the right area. The unique part is that, it is topped with a huge scoop of cream instead of the usual ice cream, and it compliments the french toast!

A maple syrup on the side for you to drizzle on the french toast, giving the entire dish an unforgettable sweetness.

Valrhona Chocolate Soufflé - $13.80

High quality chocolate were use, and it literally melt into your mouth!

There was a tinge of alcohol in the chocolate soufflé to give it that little kick lingering at the end of every bite. Loved the thin crispy outer layer of the soufflé with a soft undercooked inside

Paired with the chocolate sauce on the side which  blended in well. Dark chocolate was used, so it isn't too sweet.

Cream Cheese Soufflé Pancake - $10.80

There was maple syrup to go with the thick pancake. The pancake on its own was leaning more towards the savoury side, so paired with the maple syrup it was a good blend of sweet and salty.

Riz Noir Squid Ink Rice - $16.50

We were quite fascinated with this dish because it's infused with squid ink and we can't wait to take pictures of ourselves with stained black teeth.

Unfortunately it didn't make our teeth really black after all.
Super creative I thought, this is the first time I across this dish. It's either I am mountain turtle or Miam Miam is really really really creative.

Taste good though! Give it a try!

Souffle De Nauge ($15.50)

The egg was fluffy and creamy and was definitely the best of the dish. The rice hidden below the egg was sautéed with fresh tomatoes to give it a slight tinge of redness, with slices of thick ham which makes the dish even tastier.

Have you seen this kind of Souffle dish? I guess not!

I will definitely be back there to dine again~ :)

Tim Ho Wan at Aperia

Before the night ends, me and elder sister went to Tim Ho Wan to try their new dishes!

It's my first time at Tim Ho Wan because their queue is always so long!
So here I am at their newest outlet!

It's at APERIA which is located very near Lavender MRT.

The first dish of the night is one of the new dishes launched.

Fried Potato Flour with Apple and Diced Chicken.
$5.00

I love how crispy it is on the outside and the flour is not too thick as well. The filling inside consist of potato, apple and chicken which is hot, juicy and creamy!

Potato lover will loveeee it!

Crispy Seafood Rice Hor Fun ($6.80); which is also one of the new dish.

Super crispy Hor Fun that feels like KeroPok, and the soup does magic after you pour them on the crispy Hor fun.

It tastes really great and there is this funny clicking sound coming from the crispy Hor Fun when you pour the soup onto it. It's a really interesting dish.

Pan Fried dumplings with Leek ($4.50), the last of the 3 latest new dishes launched.

Tasty, crispy and cooked just right.

The famous Baked Bun with BBQ Pork at $4.50 for 3 buns.

I ate that at one of my friend's birthday and now again. It's still one of the best bun around.

Pan Fried Carrot Cake at $4.50.

Nothing much about this one, tasty and delicious.

Spinach Dumpling with Shrimp ($3.80).

Thick fillings, full of spinach and shrimps!

Yummy.

Vermicelli Roll with Sweet and Sesame Sauce ($4.20).

I thought the sauce is peanut butter at first because it really tastes like one. Hahha!

It's an interesting combination and has a unique tastes.  I doubt you find it anywhere outside of Tim Ho Wan. It's my first time coming across this type of dish. Usually you only see those usual Cha Siu vermicelli roll or shrimp vermicelli roll.

Steamed Egg Cake at $3.80.

Sweet in taste, bouncy and soft. Basically, it's a little like sponge cake but not sponge cake. A little bit like Nian Gao. LOL. Those Chinese traditional prayer cake for those who don't know what is that.

Something extra we ordered...

The pork texture is really... different. Some people might not like it. It's extra slimy, bouncy and loose, as in not like those cooked solid pork.

Taste wise is okay.

Tonic Medlar & Osmanthus Cake $3.50.

This is better than others I have eaten before. Not too hard and it's rich in taste.
Tastes really fresh as well. Chef recommended us to eat it on the spot for it's best quality and tastes!

Mango Pomelo Sago ($5.00)

I would say not bad compare to other Mango Pomelo Sago at other places! HAHA!

We end off our night with delicious food from Tim Ho Wan!
