[Sponsored Reviews] The HDB Rants

I may not know much about property but I do know some things that my family and I are facing.
Buying a flat now is like buying an expensive nuclear bomb that bombs your pocket one hole.

I am sure most Singaporeans have put themselves under huge bank loans unwillingly.
Even a 3NG Room-Flat in Marsiling cost around 320K or more.

 MARSILING O.KK! SOME DESERTED PLACE.

It's not enough to even cover the cost after selling our 3 Room original-condition flat at Yishun. My mum and eldest sister had the hardest time squeezing extra money just to make sure we have shelters over our head after we are "force" to sell this current flat just because ex-daddy decided to make us financially dried.

Sometime I really felt that the Judge are most probably blind with the way they divided the share of the house between my mum and dad... My dad is a freaking rich old man with tons of CPF while my mum is just one poor old housewife that sacrificed her youth, works days & almost empty CPF bank account for the family -.-.

Did you read the recent news that Singapore Divorce rate is very high??? Couples start to blame each other that they work so hard to pay the bills and the other party doesn't appreciate it... You don't say, my family are blaming me & my younger sister for not working and not having a stable full time job. -.- It's a struggle and makes it even harder for us to hold on to what we are doing now, because that is what we really want.

I really think that the Government should probably come up with something to help divorcee, especially family like us who is financially unstable. My mum is going 60 years of age and my elder sister is still studying under study loans, me and my younger sister are both trying to chase our dreams.

Does money really has the power to stop us from going after what we all want to be?
We are trying our best to live the life we want to, if only people with average income in Singapore are given the chance to catch up with the ever increasing high standard of living in Singapore.

The gap between the rich and the poor has become even more prominent now. The rich uses money to make more money, whereas the average income/poor people work their asses off forever to clear loans and debts.

Even my only CPF which I accumulated during my school days & short working years have to be thrown all into this new flat that we managed to get after all the hard work. Guess what, we still need to loan because it's not even near the amount, and we are having problems and worries, hoping that our loan application will be approved by HDB because our income statements like shit. -.-

It's coming to half a million, some already cost half a million.

You know what I mean.
Loans can be applied very easily as long you fit the criteria but never easy to clear them.

Furthermore during my house viewings with my mum and sisters, I realized that newer flat are getting smaller and smaller -.-.

Random thoughts: No wonder Singaporean all so small in size. You hardly find someone as tall as huge as the Caucasian.
