Sentosa 4D AdventureLand "FRIGHT NITES"

Hello all! I am back with more excitement.

Well Halloween is around the corner and I was invited to the media preview for Sentosa 4D AdventureLand "FRIGHT NITES".

It's super exciting and I can't wait to see what is it this time round.

Actually I am not that easily scare because I am kind of used to it as I am from Singapore Polytechnic and my school is really good at things like this. We always have camps and night walk. I was even part of the organizer for one of the camp's night walk. Super fun and interesting because you get to learn so many different things while doing the props.

As said, this trail of unexpected terror is a collaboration with Singapore Polytechnic Students, who have transformed the interactive entertainment zone into a trail together with Sentosa 4D AdventureLand's additional 4D horror rides. The trail is also known as "TRAPPED".

"TRAPPED" - A trail of unexpected terror - << Beware of these frightful nights of vengeful spirits, diabolic demons and cannibalistic zombies that will leave even the bravest of souls trembling with fear! >>

“TRAPPED”is about a once angelic coryphée who perished under the death curse by a jealous ballerina who now lurks in the depths of a haunted trail, preying on innocent souls. Dead ballerinas and evil priests also join the vengeful spirit in her reaping, roaming the premises in search for souls to seize forever.

I am not very sure what is this.

But, the zip on his face is kind of cool. Hahaha.

Along the way you will also find cute stuff or rather a little surprise.

Me and my fellow friends were too busy engrossed into the trail and I only manage to take a picture of this vengeful spirits. It's super uber dark in there too!~

After the trail, we went to try out the nail-biting thriller 4‐D ride, ‘Panic House’.

Fear will be taken to even greater heights when a charming property agent who lures you to view a seemingly beautiful Victorian house up for sale, morphs into grotesque monster in an attempt to trap your soul. Discover a mansion plagued by living corpses, flesh‐eating zombies and demons from the underworld. 

As you persist to fend for your soul and body, keep an eye out for virus­‐infected factory employees who will be out for fresh blood. Slay as many of the hungry undead without mercy in the interactive game of gore, ‘The Grip of The Undead’, before its too late.

“FRIGHT NITES” will begin after nightfall from 7pm to 11pm, on every Friday and Saturday in October and on the last Sunday of the month.

Remember to experience it yourselves ok! 

We had a wonderful buffet after the trail and 4D rides to get a grip of ourselves first before we head for another round of Journey 2~! I know I had sat that rides for numerous times but it's a ride that I can't get enough of. ^_^

(Every Friday & Saturday and the last Sunday of October)

*Unlimited entries-on day of visit*

Adult – S$38.90 

Child – S$26.90 (3 to 12 years old) 

***Children below the age of 12 are NOT allowed to go for the rides on their own. They must be accompanied by an adult/guardian for “FRIGHT NITES”, if not they will not be allowed to enter.

Beau Essentials is now open!

Last week I went for Beau Essentials' Grand Opening at Beauty World Centre! It was so coincident that their opening date falls exactly on my birthday. - 08/09 

Nevertheless I still went before I go somewhere else to celebrate and enjoy. LOL.

I was greeted with buffet and friends when I reached Beau Essentials. I was super hungry and so first thing is to eat. Trust me the food is really good.  

Well let me tell you a little bit about Beau Essentials. Beau Essentials is previously known as Play-Nails. Play-Nails had moved out from home based to an existing shop known as Beau Essentials, at Beauty World Centre.

Beau Essentials is owned by Sophia Soh and her mother. With strong passion for nails, Sophia started her journey and did her researched for renowned school, Escalonce International Nail Academy where she completed her studies in May 2012. Sophia went through training with the award winning education team and is currently an Odyssey Nail System (ONS) Ambassador. Being an ambassador would mean that she had underwent prestigious product training and had also received 8 international certificates.

Being a nail lover herself, Sophia understands the pains and temptations when it's time to get our nail designs changed (Usually in every 3 weeks). Hence, Beau Essentials' mission; For all clients to feel the enjoyment and excitement of having new nails designs while not feeling the pinch in their pocket. 

With this mission, everyone will be able to play around with nails designs freely without feeling guilty of having to spend so much on pampering our nails!

However with affordable prices does not mean that substandard products were used. Beau Essentials talks quality too! They use more than 200 nail polish and gel polish which we can choose from and all of these products used in Beau Essentials are from brands like ONS, OPI, Harmony and many others which many of us nail enthusiasts will hear about. ^_^

While doing my walked through around Sophia's shop I have also noticed that she won numerous awards.

Oh so love the nails designs and everything!

Here's my birthday face sitting on the queen chair polishing up and soaking my nails.  

I couldn't make my choice on the colors and design for my nails (Like most girls will do actually) LOL. 

After many times of changes in thoughts, I still left myself without a final decision. HAHAHA.

Sophia then offered to design my nail for me instead according to what I want --> CUTE CUTE CUTE, Nothing but Pretty and cute nails designs. ;)

Manhattan Star Platter at The Manhattan Fish Market

Hey all!

My internet is finally back on! I have been without internet for close to a week, really missed it so much. I guessed people nowadays can't do without internet hurxhurx. 

I finally can blog about my trip to The Manhattan Fish Market on Monday 9th September and I can't wait to tell you guys about their Manhattan Star Platter which has it all, whether is it flamed, baked, poached, fried or grilled. 

It is the ultimate manifestation of the restaurant’s philosophy that there are many great ways of serving seafood with a fun-filled experience and the freshness of great seafood assured.

With five different seafood cooked in five fin-tastic cooking methods, we were super spoilt for choice as we tucked into the smorgasbord of tastes and flavors.

There are also vegetables and rice to make it even more filling, and it's just nice for 2 person to get really satisfied and full! Furthermore I love the way the vegetables' been cooked, it's probably boiled and it's healthy! <3

Let's start off with the Garlic Herb Mussels, where the mussels are poached to preserve the moisture, juiciness and flavors. We definitely did relished the seafood at its fullest. It's served in the restaurant’s signature Garlic Herb sauce, where we also enjoy mopping up the sauce with to its very last bit with their Calamari and Rice!

Next, make your way to savor the Fried Oysters which are coated in batter which give the oysters a crunchy bite on the outside while locking in the juicy tender goodness on the inside.

From the juicy Fried Oysters, let us move on to the goodness of Grilled Calamari where the juiciness of squid is sealed during the grilling process.

Well the best of The Manhattan Star Platter does not stop at the calamari for the next item on the platter will rev up the appetite to greater heights with the restaurant’s signature Manhattan Flaming Prawns! ♥♥♥

This glorious flaming process is filled with the visual excitement of showmanship where the service crew also known as Sea-cret Agents perform on-the-spot flaming to bring out the caramelized sweetness of the succulent prawns. ^_^

Not forgetting another of the restaurant’s hot favorite, the Mediterranean Baked Fish which are dory fillet baked in an irresistible blend of flavorful spices and herbs in foil, and it tastes super good! I actually love the Mediterranean Baked Fish and Manhattan Flaming Prawns the most!

I went to The Manhattan Fish Market at Yishun Northpoint for lunch with my younger sister, Alexia Faye and had our favourite Gummy Bear Mocktail too! ^_^

The Soup of the Day was Cream of Mushroom Soup, super yummy soup. Me and my sister finished it off even before The Manhattan Star Platter comes to the table. LOL.

人生中发生的每一件事都有它的原因。九月已到了，我也又快成熟一年，看得懂的东西和事情也越来越多。我也发现我可能也变老了，想法和观念与现代年轻人有一点疏远了。有时候会有一些些代沟。哈哈。

这是一个好现象噢。九月将是一个新的开始！人来来往往，来了一个去了一个。非常的正常，以前的复出只能保留成美丽的回忆。

Now switching back to English language.  Was celebrating my birthday at Switch and Xian De Lai few days back. Super early celebration but thanks girls! Really appreciate everything you girls had done for me.
