Introducing Manhattan 006 : Idea derived from James Bond 007

Hi all!

Once again I was invited to the food tasting by Dean from Manhattan Fish Market to try their all new Manhattan 006. 

Thank you for always inviting me down to join you guys and other bloggers for a casual dinner! I really enjoyed it. :D

So let the food relishing starts! But before that, it's always nice to wait for the rest to arrive! :)

So we ordered some drinks while waiting for the other bloggers to arrive. Here's some of the drinks me and other blogger ordered!

❤ Sunset By The Bay
There is nothing more relaxing than sipping on our Earl Grey tea mixed with peachy fruit bites, as the beautiful crimson sun dips into the deep blue ocean. (SGD$6.00)

❤ Lemongrass Cooler
Infused with natural flavors of lemongrass, lychee and aloe vera, their icy Chamomile tea helps to improve digestion and promote healthier skin. (SGD$6.00)

❤ Pandan Paradise
Enjoy their delicious caramalized apple juice with the fragant aroma of pandan, sure to keep you calm and relaxed all day long. (SGD$6.00)

Mushroom is now the new superfood! It is loaded with nutrients to help boost energy and repair cells. Enjoy their juicy button mushroom served with homemade Cajun Honey Mustard sauce - an absolute must try! (SGD$5.95)

❤ Single Garlic Herb Mussels
Poached mussels in their signature Garlic Herb sauce, served with baguette to soak up the delicious sauce. (SGD$5.95)

I love their bread especially when it goes with the Garlic Herb Sauce.

Crispy yet soaky and tasty!

Now here comes the main highlight of my post - Manhattan 006! I was told that the idea of it's name comes from the James Bond 007 Movie. Fair enough. HAHA.

So what is inside Manhattan 006?

♛ Juicy and succulent Leggy Miss Prawn –prawns which are battered to perfection and garnished with temptingly rich and tangy French mustard sauce. 

♛ Saucy Mr Dory; promises a sterling taste where fine fillets of dory are grilled in order to seal in the flavor. To top up a superb performance, herb butter sauce is drizzled atop the grilled dory. 

♛ Nutty Ms Calamari. You will be enthralled with its taste and crispiness, with a batter coated with nuts and Manhattan Fish Market signature flaming sauce for a memorable crunchy performance. 

♛ Strong Mussel Man, another sure favorite amongst fans of shellfish as they savor mussels tastily dressed in wasabi lime sauce – truly a feat of a performance poised to thrill the taste buds. 

♛ Fearless Mr Rice Balls. Enjoy these carefully-shaped Garlic Herb rice balls with a core deliciously made up of molten cheese.

♛ Ever-Popular Spudsies. Cap your platter adventure with a satisfying serving of baby potatoes lovingly covered in coriander lemon sauce.

Out of the 6 different types, I love the Calamari and Mussels the most!

After every meal, I would always love a dessert as a closure to my tastebuds.

Here's the all time favourite.

❤ Sizzling Brownie with Ice-cream

Warm delicious brownie, topped with smooth vanilla ice-cream and nuts and drizzled with sizzling caramel sauce. A rich sensation in every bite! (SGD$9.90)

I had a great time at Manhattan Fish Market last week and I would recommend that you share Manhattan 006 with 3 people instead though. I was told that it's meant for 2 people but I personally felt that it's quite a huge serving. Unless you are like a big eater or something, you can feel free to share between 2 people. :) Manhattan 006 is at SGD$44.95)

 Re-opens At ‘The Dining Edition’ At Marina Square With A Brand New Look!

After months of absence at Marina Square due to renovations, The Manhattan FISH MARKET had very recently returned to re-open its outlet at ‘The Dining Edition’ space in the mall with a totally brand new look and feel to much delight among diners. 

I was there last week to dine in their newly re-open outlet with the rest of the bloggers and I would say that I am still so in love with their seafood platters! One of the most popular recommended dishes is the Manhattan Flaming Seafood Platter. At the price of S$39.95, it is pretty worth it as the serving portion is pretty large, and it's best for people who came in group. 

(**Random Stuff** - I love to watch them flame the platter!) HAHAHA.

It tastes best with their home-made sauces they served alongside with most of their dishes making them insanely yummylicious, especially the prawn which taste a little bit sweet but delicious and addictive ♥. You will definitely want to come back for more. HAHAHA. Look at what we've ordered even after having so much food.

We also had Garlic Herb Mussels as starter for this evening. Yummy~

Spicy Baked Fish was served as well. It's delicious and I love fish. But I can't eat too much of it because it's spicy and I don't take spicy. #.# I still kind of eat as much as I can though. The sauce is very nice and I can't resist! ♥_♥

Talking about sauces, the trio of dipping sauces from Manhattan FISH MARKET with exciting flavors that add a kick as accompaniment to your sharing seafood platter are – Cajun Honey Mustard, Spicy Seafood Dip & Smoky Chipotle Sauce.

These three platters are served up where there’s nothing like sitting down together with your family and friends over a saucy affair! (Ɔ ˘⌣˘)♥(˘⌣˘ C)

Besides their addictive homemade sauces & delicious food, I also had the Citrus Mint Smoothie (S$5.50) to accompany me for the evening. As recommended, Citrus Mint Smoothie is indeed a must try. It's refreshing and fans of sour-taste will definitely love it! 

After a hearty meal we should always never forget to end it off with savory desserts such as their Sizzling Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream (S$9.90)!
