(Review) Fighting Acnes with Biolee acnépris Range

Thank you Biolee Team for pampering me with 6 full size Biolee products, thus I get to try out their Biolee acnépris products! Just in time because I had major breakout recently!

No reason why and I have been wondering too because I've never had such major pimple breakout before. All was well until about a month or two back...

There are many reasons you can breakout as an adult. Stress or changes in your hormone levels, like menopause or switching or stopping birth control pills, are two possibilities.

Some medications, including lithium, anti-seizure drugs, and corticosteroids, can cause acne.

Well, I definitely don't take birth control pills and didn't take any drugs recently, in addition it's too early for menopause at my age. (Yea you got that) 

Whatever the reason it may be, there's only one thing I know for sure is that I want to get rid of these pimples!

I think the most basic to help start making these pimples disappear is to make sure I practice good daily skin care. That is where Biolee acnépris products come into use.

Let start off with the first step of skin care which is to cleanse my face with Biolee acnépris

Purifying Foam Cleanser.

Perfect for sensitive skin, this gentle cleanser is hypoallergenic yet effectively able to deeply cleanse away makeup, oil and dirt. The gentle foam glides perfectly onto my skin, softening and cleansing away bacteria to reveal a fresher and cleaner complexion without drying it out.

My skin definitely brightens up to a certain extend and I don't feel oily or greasy anymore. 

In fact, my skin feels so much breathable with all the dirts and oil away. 

Well, some products may cause our skin to dry up after using but not for Biolee acnépris

Purifying Foam Cleanser. I enjoy using it as it also contains pine pollen extracts, producing such nice fragrance while I cleanse my face; making me feel all so relaxing! 

Next, I use Biolee acnépris Esthetical Peeling Gel to exfoliate my face.

I brighten and refine my skin with this gommage exfoliation gel. It does not contain any scrubbing grains. It clears grimy dead skin cells from enlarged pores while minimizing them and enhances cellular renewal. Gently peel my way to a healthy glow instantly! :)

Massage it in, using a circular motion for a few minutes. Gently work the esthetical peeling gel into the pores of your face. After that rinse with warm water and then pat dry. It is advisable to use twice a week before going to bed and best after cleansing your face with Biolee acnépris

Purifying Foam Cleanser!

After that I either do some masking or proceed to the next daily skin care step of applying Biolee acnépris Control Skin Toner.

Using natural pine pollen to control surface oil, this light weight and oil free toner, revitalizes and hydrates my skin, giving it a radiant glow. My face feels super cooling and refreshing after applying it. (P.S: I like placing my face in front of my home air cooler after applying toner to feel extra cooling hehe). It is a necessary second step after cleansing to maintain the right PH balance and prevent irritation for my sensitive acne/oily skin. I use it in the morning and before I go to bed.

For my current daily skin care steps, I omitted the application of moisturizer and go on with the application of  Biolee acnépris Dramatic Spot.

I really can’t wait to get rid of those pesky red pimple! The highly effective natural pine pollen extract helps to calm red and infected skin. Pine pollen is known to be anti-bacterial and can dramatically improve and cure acne speedily. It is only to be used on infected areas and do prevent application around the eye area. I use it every morning and night before I go to bed.

It doesn't feel oily/heavy on my skin and comes with a nice fragrance as well.

After applying Dramatic Spot, I proceed with my daily application of Biolee acnépris Oil-Free UV Protector with SPF 40/PA++

Extremely light weight and non-comedogenic, this totally natural and paraben free UV protector effectively shields my skin from the harmful UV rays from the sun. The aloe- vera extract and hyaluronic acid makes this sunscreen not only a necessary shield from the sun but also a great skin care that hydrates.

It is very important for us to put on Sunscreen especially when you are living in such a sunny country, Singapore. 

Here are also 5 reason why putting on UV Protector/Sunscreen is important.

As per its name, it's indeed Oil-Free and it kind of helps a little bit in brightening my skin further. 

Now I have been using the Biolee acnépris Range for about 2 weeks/ about 2.5 weeks to be exact.

Here's the huge improvements! I am super happy because it works!!!

As you can see there's a huge reduction in reddish spots and pimples on my face. My face skin also appear smoother and fairer. I definitely look better now! ≥︺‿︺≤ 

Furthermore I went to do some research and found out that Pine Pollen can successfully treat skin conditions of all kinds. It can be made into a cream to apply directly to the skin when battling eczema, acne, impetigo, and diaper rash. The arginine in Pine Pollen also caters to the improvement of skin challenges. Which means, Biolee acnépris products are capable of that because the entire Biolee acnépris Products contains formulated pine pollen extract!

I believe I can say bye bye to those horrible acnes soon if I continue using Biolee acnépris Range!

Heritage Hair @ TIDES

Hello guys! I hope you guys are having a good week so far~ !

I decided to do a feature for Heritage Hair again because they always give good services not only in terms of hair but they really take good care of their customer well being as well. : D

I feel happy every time I go there! 

Last week I went to get some of my hair strands highlighted and I met Mint too! Even extra happier!

Here's a selfie before my hair goes through changes!

And here's a photo I took in the middle of dyeing my hair strands for my Instagram.

At first I wanted pastel pink like Xiaxue's color because it's really going to look good. 

But after some suggestions and advises given by Kenn and Sandra, I decided to go with Purple!

Well, I was told that my hair is less active in absorbing color easily because of it's good condition. :P

Well that is good news right! ^_^

And furthermore to play with colors, we have to forgo good hair condition. In another words, it means that your hair condition might be really bad & dry after that because of all the bleaching and chemical.

So to play safe, I go ahead with purple which is a easier-to-achieve color.~

Hopefully the purple color will fade and become a brighter color hahaha. : P

Well in my opinion the color is not as bright but then it's really safe for me because of filming jobs.

However, until now the purple haven't show any sign of fading :0!

Which means, the color is still going strong! ^_^

After all the bleaching and dyeing, they did treatment for me. The same treatment I did on my first visit at Heritage Hair ; Hair rescue treatment which comes in 3 steps.

Was surprise surprise Sandra and Kenn order Apple pie for me! HAHA!

I like Apple Pie! Oh ya on a second thought, have you guys try the Banana Pie which is new at MacDonald? It's super delicious!  ♥

OK ! Back to the 爱心 Apple Pie they got for me. 

Something meaningful is meant to be cam-whore with before it disappear into my mouth.

So here goes my face with the Apple Pie. (above lol)

Just an extra shot with 爱心 Apple Pie because I think my high forehead with center parting makes me look ultra different in terms of look and feel.  

Tadah! The final look of both Mint and my hair! 

Mint came in with really really messy hair, super messsssyy. But look at her hair now :0! (Like magic) 

I told her that her hair really look much neater and straight now...

My hair also became less messy on a second thought ^_^

[Review/Sponsored] Heritage Hair

This is probably my first post about a hair salon. OK. It is -.- What am I talking about. LOL.

SO. I haven't been to a hair salon for... like more than a year...not even on Chinese New Year this year and my hair probably look like this.

OK. FREAK! It's scary -.-

And so I went to Heritage Hair for a serious hair session. 

Trimming and cutting off all split ends! 

Time to wash & shampoo my hair! 

Random thoughts: I look like Alibaba here. 

Heritage hair suggested me to go through this treatment called HAIR RESCUE.

My hair really needs to be rescue, I don't want to turn Ju-On. LOL. Kidding.

Hair Rescue comes in 4 Steps, it helps to rebuild the internal hair structure, restoring its strength, condition, elasticity and shine. ^_^

Well, I really needed this due to so much hardcore spraying and hair styling done to my hair these past few months during shoots and filming. And guess what I didn't use hair conditioner for a few months because I'm so damn lazy to go buy a new one. Super NONO. Don't follow me ok!

TADADADAH!!!! 

After trimming, cutting, washing, treatment and blowing dry.

My hair feels super smooth and no tangles! 

Surprisingly, my fringe still looks very nice after undergoing cutting process. 

Reason why I stop going salons to cut my fringe is because

1) Waste money $$$

2) My fringe always got destroyed! (Either I look like a nerd or a Gold Fish)

3) Seems like no salon can handle my Popiah/Prata hair. 

I have really fine hair. A lot of make-up artiste and hairstylist on set during filming cannot handle them.
Some professional salon also cannot handle. Sigh... So I gave up.

All they do is 拼命 spray on my hair to make it looks neat. But didn't they know that it just makes it worse??? *Scratch head**Bang wall* 

Heritage hair handles my hair with care, they handled my hair super gently and listened attentively to what I requested for. ^_^

Like you know, some salon especially those aunties salons or market ones, they tend to pull your hair so hard and handle it so roughly and you feel like you drop tons of hair at the end of your session with them.
