Bloggers' Appreciation Party by Shiseido Singapore (Za, Aqualabel, Tsubaki, Senka, Majolica Majorca and Ma Cherie)

Sometime last week, I was invited to the bloggers' appreciation party which was organized by the following brands; Za, Aqualabel, Tsubaki, Senka, Majolica Majorca and Ma Cherie!

It was held at Oasia Hotel which is located near Novena MRT! Excited much!

Upon reaching level 23 of Oasia Hotel, we were warmly welcomed into the room! There were also some interesting activities for us to participate and win prizes. ^_^ I am glad to also see so many familiar faces!

Here are the usual peeps I alway see at events!

The room was beautifully decorated with award winning products of the brands involved (Za, Aqualabel, Tsubaki, Senka, Majolica Majorca and Ma Cherie).

At the later part of the party, we also had a short introductory presentation given by the different brands representatives! I discovered loads of products that I want to try ! ^_^ The presentation and prize giving ceremony for the activities were held at the bedroom. OOOooo, comfy and cozy place.

Look at the white bed sheets! HAHA!

And a romantically decorated bathrooms with bath tub!!!
Bubblee bath!~ So so wanted to go into the bath tub!

Not to forget to congratulate all the award winning products and brands! I truly think they deserve it!

A party won't be complete without food and refreshments !

Cam-whoring is always the norm.

And in the bathroom as well.... HAHA!

I am so excited to lay my hands on some products that I got to know during the presentation! I even started planning when I should get them. But now I don't need to anymore because it's so kind of them to present us with door gift after the party.

What're included in the bag of door gift?

We have Majolica Majorca End Cure Milk, Za Killer Volume Mascara, Majolica Majorca Lash Expander Edge Meister (BK999), Aqualabel special gel cream (All in one), Tsubaki Damage Care Shampoo & Conditioner and last but not least SENKA Whitening Lotion.

The best thing is that, the 2 products I am eyeing on are included in the bag of door gift ! - Za Killer Volume Mascara & AquaLabel special gel cream (All in one)!!!

I have personally tried Majolica Majorca End Cure Milk which was given at the previous event and it's awesome! Just in time, it kind of replenishes my previous since I had finished using it!

^_^

I had fun at the appreciation party, reuniting with familiar faces and learning additional new stuff about the brands involved.

Thank you Wendy and ShiseidoSG (Individual brands) for the exclusive invites!
I enjoyed blogging and writing for them and will continue to do my best!

Keep visiting this little space as I will be doing some reviews on the products I got from the Bloggers' Appreciation Party !

Thrill with Krispy Kreme - Just queue!

Hello all, I am actually using the blogger app on iPhone 5s to blog.

Let's see how convenient it is. This is going to be my first post using a smartphone hahahaa.

Today is like a monsoon day, raining everywhere, not convenient to go place to place. However me and Stella got so thrill with shopping and Krispy Kreme!

And indeed it is just as delicious as expected. Always been looking at instagram photos and tweets about it and finally I get to try it myself.

Bought a dozen home for family and boyfriend ^_^

Krispy Kreme best flavor goes to it's original glaze ! However they do have cute looking Christmas theme donuts available. Which I think should be not bad too hahahaa.

Before I end the night ! Here's a photo spam of me and Stella while waiting for our original glaze donuts to be ready!

Guess what we have to wait for it to arrive to the store because it's out of stock and it's like freaking 10pm! @.@ so many people getting them.

Stella was like "oh no! Quick must exactly 10pm because if not later don't have already ! "

We are typical singaporean for that hour hahahaa!

But it's the satisfaction of getting something after you put in effort to . Lol. :p

You guys should really join in the fun and queue up for it with your friends hahahaaa!

Gdnight and enjoy a cooling night ahead!

Blogging from the phone - signing off ~~

Sentosa 4D AdventureLand "FRIGHT NITES"

Hello all! I am back with more excitement.
Well Halloween is around the corner and I was invited to the media preview for Sentosa 4D AdventureLand "FRIGHT NITES".

It's super exciting and I can't wait to see what is it this time round.
Actually I am not that easily scare because I am kind of used to it as I am from Singapore Polytechnic and my school is really good at things like this. We always have camps and night walk. I was even part of the organizer for one of the camp's night walk. Super fun and interesting because you get to learn so many different things while doing the props.

As said, this trail of unexpected terror is a collaboration with Singapore Polytechnic Students, who have transformed the interactive entertainment zone into a trail together with Sentosa 4D AdventureLand's additional 4D horror rides. The trail is also known as "TRAPPED".

"TRAPPED" - A trail of unexpected terror - << Beware of these frightful nights of vengeful spirits, diabolic demons and cannibalistic zombies that will leave even the bravest of souls trembling with fear! >>

“TRAPPED”is about a once angelic coryphée who perished under the death curse by a jealous ballerina who now lurks in the depths of a haunted trail, preying on innocent souls. Dead ballerinas and evil priests also join the vengeful spirit in her reaping, roaming the premises in search for souls to seize forever.

All of us awaiting what's inside for us.
Even during the waiting time, there were...

What looks like Chucky to me.

Zombies!

Dead ballerinas!

I am not very sure what is this.
But, the zip on his face is kind of cool. Hahaha.

Along the way you will also find cute stuff or rather a little surprise.

This little thing here can moveeeeee!

Me and my fellow friends were too busy engrossed into the trail and I only manage to take a picture of this vengeful spirits. It's super uber dark in there too!~

After the trail, we went to try out the nail-biting thriller 4‐D ride, ‘Panic House’.

Fear will be taken to even greater heights when a charming property agent who lures you to view a seemingly beautiful Victorian house up for sale, morphs into grotesque monster in an attempt to trap your soul. Discover a mansion plagued by living corpses, flesh‐eating zombies and demons from the underworld.

As you persist to fend for your soul and body, keep an eye out for virus‐infected factory employees who will be out for fresh blood. Slay as many of the hungry undead without mercy in the interactive game of gore, ‘The Grip of The Undead’, before its too late.

“FRIGHT NITES” will begin after nightfall from 7pm to 11pm, on every Friday and Saturday in October and on the last Sunday of the month.

Remember to experience it yourselves ok!
We had a wonderful buffet after the trail and 4D rides to get a grip of ourselves first before we head for another round of Journey 2~! I know I had sat that rides for numerous times but it's a ride that I can't get enough of. ^_^

Before I end off, here are some information to know before you head for "FRIGHT NITES"

Manhattan Star Platter at The Manhattan Fish Market

Hey all!
My internet is finally back on! I have been without internet for close to a week, really missed it so much. I guessed people nowadays can't do without internet hurxhurx.

I finally can blog about my trip to The Manhattan Fish Market on Monday 9th September and I can't wait to tell you guys about their Manhattan Star Platter which has it all, whether is it flamed, baked, poached, fried or grilled.

It is the ultimate manifestation of the restaurant’s philosophy that there are many great ways of serving seafood with a fun-filled experience and the freshness of great seafood assured.

(The ‘Manhattan Star Platter’ at SGD$39.95)

With five different seafood cooked in five fin-tastic cooking methods, we were super spoilt for choice as we tucked into the smorgasbord of tastes and flavors.

There are also vegetables and rice to make it even more filling, and it's just nice for 2 person to get really satisfied and full! Furthermore I love the way the vegetables' been cooked, it's probably boiled and it's healthy! <3

Let's start off with the Garlic Herb Mussels, where the mussels are poached to preserve the moisture, juiciness and flavors. We definitely did relished the seafood at its fullest. It's served in the restaurant’s signature Garlic Herb sauce, where we also enjoy mopping up the sauce with to its very last bit with their Calamari and Rice!

Next, make your way to savor the Fried Oysters which are coated in batter which give the oysters a crunchy bite on the outside while locking in the juicy tender goodness on the inside.

From the juicy Fried Oysters, let us move on to the goodness of Grilled Calamari where the juiciness of squid is sealed during the grilling process.

Well the best of The Manhattan Star Platter does not stop at the calamari for the next item on the platter will rev up the appetite to greater heights with the restaurant’s signature Manhattan Flaming Prawns! ♥♥♥

This glorious flaming process is filled with the visual excitement of showmanship where the service crew also known as Sea-cret Agents perform on-the-spot flaming to bring out the caramelized sweetness of the succulent prawns. ^_^

If you have not forgotten my previous post on The Manhattan Fish Market where I said I love watching them flamed the platter! HAHAHAA -- http://www.evaleelx.com/2013/08/the-manhattan-fish-market.html

Not forgetting another of the restaurant’s hot favorite, the Mediterranean Baked Fish which are dory fillet baked in an irresistible blend of flavorful spices and herbs in foil, and it tastes super good! I actually love the Mediterranean Baked Fish and Manhattan Flaming Prawns the most!

I went to The Manhattan Fish Market at Yishun Northpoint for lunch with my younger sister, Alexia Faye and had our favourite Gummy Bear Mocktail too! ^_^

The Soup of the Day was Cream of Mushroom Soup, super yummy soup. Me and my sister finished it off even before The Manhattan Star Platter comes to the table. LOL.

From now to October 31st 2013, get fresh with a new star creation from The Manhattan FISH MARKET! Remember to drop by to try The Manhattan Star Platter before 31st October!

Singapore National Day Parade LIVE 2013

First I would like to say thank you to my dear friend, Xue Yao for the tickets to both this year NDP Preview and actual day live at the Marina Bay floating platform!

Yes! I was so lucky to be able to watch twice live this year! It's been like a thousand years since primary 5 and I never get a chance to attend the parade live ever since then. Getting tickets to NDP is like harder than winning any competition. 乂⍱‿●乂

So here I am with my younger sister and friends at the NDP actual day (08.08.2013)!

With that said, I had 2 NDP fun pack this year! 〷◠‿◠〷 Yay-ness.
When it comes to freebie everyone is happy. HAHAHA!

So what's up in the fun pack?! LETS SEE.

Merlion cookies! Simple but yummy.

As usual Sticker Tattoo for everyone to stick on and show your love for Singapore.

Creative or what??

-RANTS-
Before getting to our seat which is at the blue sector, we have to pass through this security gate which had securities that looked at you and treated you like a terrorist who's going in to kill Lee Kuan Yew or Lee Hsien Loong. ఠ_ఠ

I was pissed off with them literately, and they were part of the reasons of ruining the first half of my NDP mood. My poor younger sister have to miss her 2 hours of NDP parade. No more Singapore Love from me after what happen. ヽ(ಠ_ಠ)ノ

Until a while later, Ah Xue and my younger sister make me feel better then did I really try my best to enjoy NDP. Really appreciated that. I get really irritated with irresponsible people and also people with really poor attitude. I just freaking don't like it and I won't keep quiet like the rest of the people would.

Ok... So whatever lah.
I am here to enjoy my NDP. So these people can just simply F off. ┌( ಠ_ಠ)┘

WOOT! Waiting, waiting and waiting...The marching parade finally started!

Dynamic Defense Display.

Night Performances!

Crowd getting high!!!

Finally the fireworks!!!

Some scenery....part of what's so worthy of being there live.

Watch more in the video I took during NDP Live!
It's a quick view of the parades and performances starting from the entrance of Lee Hsien Loong.

Hope you guys enjoyed watching the video and reading the post!
Let's all wish Singapore HAPPY BIRTHDAY AGAIN! ♥

Finally some faces before ending my NDP post ^_^.

What's that lady doing behind me? Photo-bomber alarm.

Eat bread also want to take photo. Tsk...

Finally, Alexia & me with my Star War's sword.
