BellaBox Beauty Box for February 2015

Yes! I am late on this! Bellabox sent me their February Beauty box! I actually took all the pictures ready to share with you guys but unfortunately I forgot to bring my laptop with me! MUHAHAHAHAHA!

I brought the lipstick around with me to use though! Initially I thought only MAC sells hot pink lipstick that stays well and don't give me dry lips. But LAQA  & CO. brand is not bad! Very smooth when applying but then it doesn't stay long on my lips. However, the good thing is, it's design is super handy for people like me who always didn't have extra hand to hold the lipstick cap while applying. LAQA & Co. Lip Lube works like a crayon. I can literally hold the cap at the end of the "crayon stick" :P, super convenient!

I also drank the Summer green tea on the rocks from Kagoshima Japan. I don't really know how to rate green tea but I know for sure the taste must be there. For me, I will prefer less residue in the tea, so I don't get choke on it accidentally for being greedy. lol.

The best thing is, I can drink it cold. I don't need to boil water and I am happy because I am quite lazy sometimes. HAHAHA!

So now I know why it's call Summer Green Tea on the rocks! It's refreshing and you can just have it in cold water and the taste is still awesome!

The packaging very China, I thought it was some Chinese medicine at first.

Goodal super speed oil plus skin mist came at the right time too. I need moisturiser for my hands and this works well!

Beauty Blender Event at Sephora

About weeks ago, I attended the Beauty Blender event at Sephora Ion with Maybeline Sim. Before the event, I heard a lot about the beauty blender. Basically, people that does make up probably had brought this up in the conversation couple of times.

Well, I heard about it mainly from my younger sister, she wanted to get it because she does cosplay and always put on make up. When she saw me bringing home the Beauty Blender, she was like crazily happy lah.

Well I didn't think that highly of these little sponges initially and I actually thought that it was quite expensive for one small sponge.

I finally had the chance to not be lazy and get it out of the box to try it.
I used the little green mirco beauty blender to help blend mainly my concealer and eye shadow.

Luckily, I did my reading on the instruction to moist it before using, if not I would probably just used it dry. HAHAHA!

With beauty blender, I realised I put on my make up faster that usual because it helps me a lot in speeding up the blending of the concealer and foundation on my face. Usually, other than using make up brushes, I always used my finger tip and tap for blending. And using my finger tip to tap is actually the last thing I want to do as it promotes bacterial, pimples and also it kind of "tap" my make up away a little (waste make up).

I used this large original Beauty Blender for the entire face, just to let the make up looks like it's part of my skin.  Some how the make up on my face now are smoother and look even more equally blend than usual.

Now that I have tried it, I would say it's definitely worth the money. The sponge also feels tough and I think it will last long enough as well if it is well taken care of.

You can find out more information about the beauty blender at this website:

The beauty blender event at Sephora was surprisingly short and sweet. Little did I expect the event to end that fast for me haha!

Anyway here's a picture of me and the hunk at work at this event.
I am not so much of a  hunk person. So when I see six pack or some muscular human, either I will go Eeeeee or ok.

But here's a picture of me and Jason anyway for those who wants to check his body out. HAHAHA! He looks very familiar but I just can't recall where I've seen him before. Hmmm.

Automatic Beauty Eye Tape from Automatic Beauty

Earlier last week, I received the Automatic Beauty Eye Tape from Automatic Beauty.

Personally I don't use eye tape as I do have slight double eye lid naturally, and furthermore I am too lazy to learn how to use one hahaha!

But here're the products and I shall try to make my double eyelid bigger.

Two different types of Automatic Beauty Eye Tape came into my mailbox;

The Single Eye Tape and Natural Eye Tape.

The single eye tape is basically firmer than the natural eye tape. It definitely brings out the new eye lid better in my case because it's harder in material.

It's transparent in color, non-glossy and it sinks firmly into the crease line.
There is also a shaping stick included in the package for easy peel and stick. You also don't have to worry about not being able to peel out the eye tapes from the paper holding it because there is this easy-peel cut line provided at the edge.

So how do you put on the single eye tape?

So here's my half awake eye with no make up.
Emphasising on the no make up part, because the eye tape blended in quite well even without make up, imagine I had make up on? I think nobody can tell if I had eye tape on or not. lol.

As per the steps above, I find the height of the desire crease and paste the eye tape as accurately as I can, because it best not to remove and paste again for better effect.

After then I use the shaping stick to push it in and make sure the eye tape sink into the crease when my eye is open.

Remember to push properly in case you create too many lines on your eye lid. lol.

And tadah! It's slightly bigger than my normal eye lid. So if you want more eye lid, you can try to increase the height of where you want that crease to appear. hahaha!

My skill is not perfect yet but I think with more practice it will get better. :P

You can also try using the natural eye tape for a even natural look of course.
It's comes in skin beige/natural skin tone, translucent and made of soft fabric therefore it doesn't irritate the skin.

It's not as firm in material as compare to the single eye tape.

Personally I prefer the single eye tape because I do have quite a stubborn eye lid, so I definitely need something that can really hold the crease while I open my eyes. :P

Both the Automatic Beauty Eye Tapes (Single & Natural) are selling at local store at SGD$19.90 only for a total of 80 strips. I think it's super worth it because it also comes in a cute container box and a shaping stick as well. With 80 strips I think it should last quite long.

P.S: Pardon for lousy picture quality, all taken with iphone 5, because my camera is on MC until next week.  :)

Explore BellaboxAsia's October beauty box with me!

Thank You BellaBoxAsia for sending me their beauty box yet again!
It's October and before it ends I am going to quickly do a post on it.

I was using their beauty box product few days ago for my shoot.

First I used the Garnier Sakura White Moisturising day cream as my face moisturiser or you call it base cream. So that my face will look all dewy and moist!

The cream itself doesn't feel sticky on the face and it makes your skin looks whiter right after applying. It has whitening effect and it makes my face looked a little more radiant and awake too.

Next up I also tried using the REAL! push-up liner for my eyeliner!
This is my first time using a push-up liner! I had seen many of my friends using them and never know how it feels like.

Basically it's like squeezing black gel out from the tip (Just like squeezing colgate haha!).

It's smooth and I was able to apply it evenly along my eyelid! Oh and throughout the 2 hours shoot, it didn't smudge!

CREMA SAPONE NON SAPONE !

This extraordinary detergent-free cleansing cream deep cleans and refines all complexion types, effectively whisking away dirt, grime, and any trace of cosmetic product.

The texture of the cream feels light and my face feels clean with no irritation or whatsoever after using it.

Basically, I used this to wash my face after all the make up removing.
Stay tuned for my next post about my latest make up remover solution!

And this is the final look for the shoot!

ZA Killer Volume Mascara Review

I randomly decided to do a review after trying out the Za Killer Volume Mascara because it's a total WOW! to me.

I want to show you the difference before and after applying it on my lashes.

This below is  Za Killer Volume Mascara!
It promises to help instantly achieves super curl & volume lashes with liquid absorption up to 170%!

This is a close up view of my lashes before applying the ZA Killer Volume Mascara.

But before applying anything on our lashes, it's always advisable to curl them with a eye lash curler to bring out its best look.

After applying the ZA Killer Volume Mascara! Look at the difference in volume!

I am very satisfied with the effect it gives to my god knows why so little lashes! No falsies and eyeliner hasn't been drawn at all!

It has a ultra volume brush; big brush with great amount of mascara liquid instantly creates long-lasting, separated and upward volume lashes without clumps.

It also has the volume curl formula that help to gives your lashes a long-lasting volume and curl.

The finishing look of the day after applying the rest of the required make up.

I also notice that ZA Killer Volume Mascara doesn't cause smudges at all after a long day. ^_^
In addition, it is super easy to remove even with make up remover wipes! I don't have to worry that I can't get it off clean from my lashes at the end of the day.

Well, our eye lashes are important to us because they are part of what makes a nice beautiful looking eye. Therefore I am also very particular about the aftermath removing process whereby some mascaras are too stubborn and just won't come off. In the end, my lashes came off instead -.-.

So girls!!! Or hmm even guys! Choose the right Mascara even if it goes to trying a thousands of them before you get the right one that fits you. ;)

Za Rouge Affair / Za Rich-Glam Liquid Rouge review

Recently I have been posting a lot more on beauty related stuff and here's another post of some really addictive lip glosses that you shouldn't miss out.

I think I probably can open up a collections of lip balms of my own soon.

Last week I was invited to Za Spring/Summer Launch Party where I met a lot of other beauty bloggers at the rouge affair!

I came quite early after work and was looking forward to this event!

It's always great to see people you know around! ~

A huge picture of the backstage pass each of us gets at the door!

Camera spoiled and have to seat at home! I promise to get it repair!
Huge hassle for people like us who take pictures everyday and the precious camera decided to fail us at the wrong time. LOL.mehhz. :/

Bare with me. Some pictures here are really blur especially when I cam-whore with the front camera of iPhone5s.

Was so interested into my backstage pass until I kept cam-whoring with it non-stop.Trust me I have tons of picture of me with it in my phone. ;)
 hahahahahhaaa!

A talk was given to us before the event officially started. (P.S: Sorry I posted a photo of you with your eyes closed, but you still look pretty! This is the only photo I have. :3.)

Here's the highlight of the night :
New Za Rouge Rich-Glam Liquid Rouge in 8 colours, $18.90 each~

Basically, the new Za Rouge Rich-Glam Liquid Rouge contains both of lipstick & gloss which are mixed evenly. The gloss content seeps out to the surface when you rub your lips together for a finishing look. The gloss layer is then formed and locks the lipstick layer inside.

With Glossy Color Effect, you can easily get 2 effects in just 1 step!

After the talk, we have some games to participate in. I really love how creative the team is in always giving us surprises and new interesting things that entertains us very much successfully. : P

Something like beer pong. Actually I don't know what is Beer Pong and now I know. : P
Basically it is just aiming and throwing the flower/ball/ping pong/ whatever into the respective correct glasses. LOL.

We had many other games such as matching games and guess the leather game. HAHA.

There's also some refreshments ready for us!
♥_♥

Yummy yummy . Lots of what seem to me as dessertsss ♥_♥ Sweet stuff are love!

The favourite part is they have all these awesome cute looking props for us to take pictures with!
Arghh, why no camera?!

And some beautiful looking displays around the venue!

One of the "games" station where you get to know what type of lips you have. I got to know what personality, love life I have and celebrities like me who have full lip. ^_^ I so happy to see Angelina Jolie as one of them HAHAHAA!

OH I heard full lips are sexy. LOL.

So much love from the event itself and I am so lucky to be one of the lucky draw winners.
I won myself a pair of Gripzshoes and lot of Hollyhoque vouchers! ♥_♥

I went home and the next day I started using the new Za Rouge Rich-Glam Liquid Rouge.
I got the Saccharine Sweet (RS371) and Tipping Point (RD301) in which both have it's unique point and advantages.

I love Saccharine Sweet the most because it pairs up really nicely with the Gripzshoes I won!
In addition, I really need colours like this which are brighter, sweet and extra girly for work ;).

Here's one of the days which I wore Za Rouge Rich-Glam Liquid Rouge - Saccharine Sweet out to meet my friends for sweet night out~

On lazy days when I just want to relax and go out with friend without dressing up too much but still doesn't want to look sloppy while wearing them, my glittery hot-pink sandals from Gripzshoes and Saccharine Sweet from Za Rouge Rich-Glam Liquid Rouge Range really plays a huge part in making that come true.

So if you want something that balance out with your skin-tone and bring a hint of sexiness without looking too pale or tired or even too red on the lips, Saccharine Sweet is something that you may wish to consider getting~ . :)

Za Rouge Rich-Glam Liquid Rouge : Saccharine Sweet

Just yesterday I was trying out Tipping Point from one of the 8 colours from Za Rouge Rich-Glam Liquid Rouge Range.

This colour is much much different as compare to Saccharine Pink. It's super good for people who wants to look really natural but stylish and yet still bling-ish with a not dull lips on a simple day out.

Rosey shades on lips are all the rage right now. It is equal touch natural and glam.
Look at the glow and healthy look it gives. ;)

Love the super girl-next-door look and feel.

What I really like about Za Rich-Glam Liquid Rouge is that it can help me to achieve rich color and glamorous shine at once and it also has 2 unique features of "Ultra Fit Applicator" that easily creates perfect lips!

There's this spoon-shaped curve that perfectly fits to my lips and it also help to hold a appropriate amount of liquid in the curve of the applicator tip that help distribute it evenly on the lips there after.

I'm honor to be able to get a hold of the new Za Rich-Glam Liquid Rouge before it's even officially launch in the market. You can get yours in stores from 30th January 2014 at S$18.90! ^_^

There are 8 new shades with asian-flattering pink undertones that definitely suits our skin colour.

A really big thank you to Gripzshoes, Hollyhoque and Za for the wonderful launch party and surprises!

xoxo-
